How to use a.kobee
The video below shows how to assemble, fill, feed, and clean an a.kobee bottle.
About the brand
Where is a.kobee made?
a.kobee is an American brand, designed in Los Angeles and manufactured in Malaysia. Our manufacturing facility specializes in medical and infant feeding products and meets FDA and CPC standards. Materials are strictly sourced from Germany (Premium Low Volatile Silicone) and the United States (Tritan polymer).
Why is a.kobee priced higher than other baby bottles?
The bottle is built around two principles: upright feeding and zero plastic contact. Honoring those principles requires German Premium LVS (Low Volatile Silicone), American polymer (Tritan) for components beyond the milk path, and seven years of design refinement protected by U.S. Design Patent. The price reflects what those decisions cost, not what the category convention suggests.
Is a.kobee safe for newborns?
Yes. All a.kobee products meet FDA and CPC requirements for infant feeding products. The silicone is German Premium LVS with volatile organic compounds below 0.4 percent. Components beyond the milk path are made from Tritan, recognized among the safest available polymers. Free of BPA, BPS, BPF, phthalates, and PVC.
About the product
Which configuration should I choose?
For a first-time parent, Harmony covers the most common stages of early feeding with both 5oz and 9oz bottles in one set. For families wanting the complete inaugural collection, Elite is limited to 850 units and includes three flows. Essential is the single 5oz bottle. Prime is the single 9oz bottle. All four products meet the same engineering standard.
My baby is used to another bottle. Will they accept a.kobee?
Many newborns transition without difficulty due to the natural latch design of the nipple. Some take longer. We recommend introducing a.kobee during a calm feeding window, not during distress. If the transition takes more than a few attempts, write to contact@estuen.com and we will share guidance.
What flow should I choose?
Newborn flow for the first three months. Slow flow from three to six months. Medium flow from six months onward. These are general guidelines. Each baby develops at their own pace. The flow that works is the flow your baby feeds calmly with.
Is the bottle dishwasher safe?
Yes. a.kobee bottles, nipples, and components are dishwasher safe on the top rack. For sanitization, the components are also boil safe and steam sterilizer safe.
About care
How often should I replace the nipple?
We recommend replacing nipples every two to three months, or sooner if you notice any wear, discoloration, or change in flow rate. Replacement nipples are available as Accessories.
How do I sterilize a.kobee?
Boil for 5 minutes in clean water, or use a steam sterilizer. Both methods are safe for all a.kobee components.
Can I warm milk in a.kobee?
Yes, in a warm water bath or bottle warmer. Do not microwave the bottle. Microwaving can heat milk unevenly and may damage the silicone over time.
